The RapidVac smoke evacuator is made to work with our Valleylab™ generators. When they’re synchronized, smoke is evacuated only when you activate your electrosurgical pencil. That reduces background noise — and maximizes filter life. The filtration system is also designed to help keep your per-procedure costs low. It has an economical, 25-hour activation time3 with no need for additional prefilters or adapters. The four-stage system incorporates: ? A prefilter to capture large particles ? A highly efficient ULPA filter to capture small particles4 ? A layer of activated carbon to absorb odors ? A post filter to provide a final stage of protection
